FS (not by me) in Los Angeles/So. Bay - 18" Meyer Sound woofers $99
Saw this on Craigslist - would be great for an equalized H/U-frame dipole/cardioid...
Huge 18 inch speaker, Good for PA, instruments, Car? USA made, Meyer.
This is a huge EIGHTEEN INCH speaker drive unit... Mount it in an enclosure and this will blast you like nothing else will.. Highest quality build, not China junk.
Perfect condition, tested working.
4 inch Voice Coil. Just as big as JBL.
USA made. Use for PA, musical instruments, car or home?
Model "MS 818 HTS" Meyer Sound Laboratories Co.
18 inches in diameter. Largest common size of available woofer/speakers.
Cast basket of aluminum, not stamped sheet metal like others at this asking price.
8 ohm voice coil impedance.
Huge massive magnet motor structure.
High Power / High level Output.
California made by Meyer Sound Laboratories, Co. in Berkeley CA. A VERY EXPENSIVE maker of speakers and sound equipment.
Very expensive model to buy new. . . . Extra spares... Need no longer exists.. I don't need them lying around anymore, blowout price of $99.00 each, 4 available now. Thanks.
