Hello,
Finally have my Squeezebox-based system where I want it, so I'm selling the excellently engineered HagUSB by Jim Hagerman. This is a fantastic little box, with really well done circuitry to eliminate most of the noise riding on the USB-powered connection (through the use of a not-cheap pulse transformer). HagUSB details: Hagerman Technology LLC: HagUsb USB to SPDIF Audiophile Converter Review of a digital front-end including the HagUSB: 6moons audio reviews: Music Lovers' Digital Front End Also has a headphone output, which actually sounds very decent - used it in the office and was very pleased at the COMPLETELY black background - which I didn't get with another dedicated USB headphone amp. Good engineering is good engineering. thanks, -Tal |
