Default FS: DIY Tube parts, tubes 845's teflon, tube phono PCBs

Hi All,

I decided to go with a lower powered tube amp project, so I'm selling my RCA 845s, metal plate 845s, the sockets for them, and some monster capacitors. While I'm at it, I decided to sell a few more rare and cool items I'm not using like mil-spec stepped attenuator switches, Loesch-type 417A phono preamp PCBs and some Mullard EL34s. They're listed in detail below with prices. Pictures at the following link. Will ship worldwide, insured and tracked.

Parts for sale

RCA-made 845 tubes from the early 1960's (tested in an 845 amp running 1000VDC at ~80mA). These have good sized getters, and a small loose glass piece in the tube, but sound tremendous. $1200/pr

Metal Plate 845M tubes, made in China, 70W plate dissipation (tested as above at 70mA). These were great in a low-powered 845 amp I built a while back running at 450VDC and 50mA. $150/pr

Graphite Plate 845 tubes, Valve Art (tested as above) $90/pr

Teflon 845 sockets (new) $100/pr
845 sockets, EF Johnson (used) $50/pr
845 sockets, James Millett (used) $40/pr
845 sockets, RCA brand, GE-made (used) $40/pr

845 Oil Capacitors, 88uF 1200VDC $50/pr

Mullard EL34 Tubes, Halo Getter XF2 etching $75/pr

Phono preamp PCB for Loesch 417A 6GK5 5687/6922 circuit. This is a great circuit board for the all-tube 417A phono preamp circuit first published in Sound Practices. The circuit is pretty stock, and the PCB is VERY high quality with plated through holes, and heavy traces. Each set comes with a mono PCB for each signal channel plus mono power supply PCBs. The boards have on-board filament regulators, and room for film capacitors and high-quality output capacitors unlike most PCBs. Really nice! $100 per stereo set (have 3)

Grayhill 24 position, make-before-break switches. These are the correct type for stepped attenuators, have a nice feel and motion and are milspec quality. You can build a stereo or even balanced stereo attenuator on these switches, or use them for mono. I have 3pcs. $40 each
