... Won't having those chips in styrofoam kill them? Generally you want to store chips in that black foam, because it's conductive so there's no chance that there will ever be a voltage differential between any pins as long as they're all in the same piece of foam.

I think it ok but I can put it in a different container, it has been in there for 4 years and I just tested them today and they work fine.
