If you are looking at this you know these tubes are fantastic. Well made and sound terrific. They can be used to replace a 300B tube but they sound better if they are pushed much harder and are capable of producing 20W in single ended mode.

The auction on ebay ends in 2days and the tubes will sell since I have no reserve.

These tubes were part of a matched quad that I bought back in 2006. They were installed on a custom built push-pull amplifier for a very short period of time and were removed when one of the tubes burned out because the power wires to the heaters were poorly soldered (by me) which caused that one tube to fail. When that happened I removed the remaining 3 tubes, replaced them with chinese made 300B's and put the 842's back in their box where they stayed for the last few years.

Selling them now because I'm trying to make money to buy a new turntable...
