I built them, listened to them for a while, then when I was veneering the cabinets I dropped one and dented a cabinet. I don't have the energy to start over and re-build them so I'm just going to sell the parts.
If you want the cabinets too, they are yours. The split is not that bad, but I'm pretty anal about this stuff so I'm selling them. The crossovers are in the cabinets and sealed up so I can tear the boxes apart and give you the parts, or if you want to pay to have them shipped, you can have the cabinets too. I'll be home tomorrow and send a pic of them if you like. Anyways...Here is what you get for $400 +SH. (PayPal no extra charge) 2 - ScanSpeak 18W8535 2 - D2010-8513 2 - Cabinets. (one with a small dent in the back) All the stuff for the crossovers with the optional "notch" filter. I used Solon caps and Lynx resistors and had the inductors hand-wound to the exact specs by Miniscus Audio in MI. Used teflon-coated silver wire to the speakers. I build the crossovers and mounted them on plexiglass and siliconed them into the cabinet. Again, Not a hard thing to get out of there, but if you'd rather spend a few more bux and get the cabinets too (sans veneer) it may be worth a few bux. Pics of the cabinets and all before the dent (its in the rear corner of the right speaker I think) can be found at... http://www.hardman.org/pix/clonac/clonac.html I've got more pics if you want them. |
