WTB: Nikko NR-1219 power transformer

WTB: Nikko NR-1219 power transformer. Mine developed a short which I'm sure would be a nightmare to rebuild. Anyone have one they are willing to sell? To make matters worse: I found a pair of Utah M-5500 speakers today, went and bought them for $50 to salvage the drivers.... Only to get home and realize that every single component had been replaced with Radio Shack equipment. What a crappy day this has been! Thanks, Don

Hey Don, It just so happens I have the very same receiver, NR-1219. Bought it new in the late 70's. It has problems with the balance and sound coming and going until you tap it. Seems to be a cold solder joint??? I was going to mess with it but will probably look to another vintage unit. Make an offer if you like for the whole unit if you want to take a flyer on it solving your problem. I'm located in Grafton, Ohio so I don't know what the shipping will be on this guy.
