In the preparation for move, I have started cleaning in the basement. Rather than dispose of the stuff in the garbage, it may be of some use for other members. So I will be posting some pics of the available stuff.
First is DC regulated high voltage laboratory power supply. Its dusty, but it works. Not much is known except that it works in regulated voltage or regulated current mode, goes from zero to 560 volts, not sure about the max current ratings...Has digital readout for volts and current. Some parts look like were replaced, so someone has fixed it before. I was about to put it in the box, but never finished it. Its heavy. Great for tube amp projects. Make an offer, pay shipping, its yours. US only. |

This is a matching set of Magnavox speakers from church organ. 12" pair of woofers/midranges with matching tweeter pair. 12" is more or less midrange, since that church organ had two pairs of 15" woofers which are sold already. Speakers are in great shape and work fine. Midrange measures well, highly efficient, no break up modes. Tweeter is weird one, big, deep and very loud. Probably powerful as well. It measures well, but it tapers off quite soon, so it could use supertweeter. Anyway, nice pairs. I had them on open baffle, they sounded amazing. Make offer.

here is gutted box from 8 channel GOULD DC preamplifier....has scratches, but the front is quite ok, has 8 balanced inputs, 8 dual stepped attenuators, plus two mono pots for balance...or something else. I was about to build 8 channel microphone mixer into it, but have no time...

Adason,
Do you have any other gutted/ ungutted boxes that you would like to sell? I am looking for something that could house a tube headphone amplifier. I'm planning to use 4 transformers, 5 tubes, and a couple pcbs in the design so the box would need to be relatively large. I would snap up your preamplifier box in an instant, however it has so many knobs on the front... Thanks |
