This unit is in really good condition physically and works perfectly, never had a single issue. Reads anything (CD, CD-R) as you'd expect from the CDM4/19. This is the one with the TDA1541 DA chip. It has a socket installed and the NOS board that plugs into where the sampling chip was. Original chip with it as well. Huge difference in sound with the NOS installed, which is a simple swap. Very smooth and detailed. Not edgy at all. Only selling as I bought a CD23T.
If interested email me at talk-to-me@shaw.ca for photos. I'd like $200 for it or make me an offer. I have an extra CDM4 that I can include which pretty much future proofs this this for well into the distant future Last edited by audioquestM-40; 2nd October 2011 at 03:04 PM. |
