Just trolling for trumpets and I stumbled upon THIS. Those old Allen amps are highly regarded. Incredible iron for $49. Somebody go get it.

P.S., you'd want to be sure it indeed was tube. I don't know if any of these guys were solid state, but I do know that some had acro iron!
