Looking for a PSU for a Charlize amp that I finally want to get running..
If you have a Skynet 8080 or other good (but fairly cheap) PSU laying around I'm interested I'm located in Denmark - but will off course pay whatever the shipping is |

Why look for a PSU with multiple output, when you only need a single 12-13,5 volt supply?
You can get lots of smps cheap on ebay and aliexpress. |

Hi Kjeldsen - I just heard that the Skynet 8080 should be better than others for the price - so I wouldn't know which one to look for in the same quality range...

The problem with standard SMPS based PSU's is that they are not made for audio amplifiers.
Standard and ATX PSU's are not designed to deliver high current in short periods of time. You can read a bit more here 125 Watt Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) - PMP3029 - TI Tool Folder Maybeé the Skynet is capable of this? |
