I have 20 Amperex, NOS in the box EF40 tubes.
I bought them about ten years ago, and then they got lost in a hundred other projects. They have the silver mesh shield screen. They are in yellow and green boxes, MADE IN FRANCE on the boxes. They have the bugle boy, MADE IN FRANCE around the Bugle Boy, white script. They have round halo getters, and that round gray "cover" under the getter. They are ab-so-lute-mint, never used. I did build several microphone preamps, using them as first stage, and they sound super, very quiet. I would like to get $200 plus ship for all, or make offer Very rare, these are the same as a Ef86, the special Telefunken EF86 with the best sounding internal structure Look at this link to see samples of some of my most recent restortations and special projects.
