Addition to above -forgot to add why I'm selling (since I posted at about 3am last night when the old insomnia had kicked in). Lack of space is the only reason: too many speakers, too little room. I already have a pair of Alpair7s, and it's a waste to let these units just sit on the shelf. I'd rather somebody else can put them to proper use.

Hi,
I am interested. I am just a bit lost in the Mark Audio labelling jungle. What model are the 7s? Are they aka 7.3? Alternatively, what is the recommended enclosure? I am leaning towards the Pensil 7 but they have different depth according to the exact model. Finally, how much would shipping to London, UK be? TIA giulio |

These are the Alpair 7.2, with the full Planet10 modifications.
There is no recommended enclosure per se, since this necessarily depends on what you are hoping to achieve. Of the Pencils, they will of course work best in the original A7 Pencil design, but they should go into the latest version with a little juggling of the damping. I'm not sure on the shipping, since I haven't yet put them in a shipping box with packing etc., but based on previous items I've sent, I would estimate it in the region of £10. Hope that helps Scott Last edited by Scottmoose; 23rd August 2011 at 10:28 AM. |
