Default Wanted: Infinity RS-9 Crossover

Today, I was recapping my RS-9 crossovers. I had it clamped to my work table. Bad luck would have its way today. The crossover snapped out of the clamp and fell to the floor. The old brittle plastic shattered.

Anyone have one or two in their salvaged parts bin that they would let go.

These are the RS-9ís with the fuse. I believe the RS-9B (without fuse) will work also.

I could and may be force to glue these back together, but you know they will never be the same. Please help!

There is a couple for sale on the big auction site, but I thought I would try here first.

well all of the parts are still good and you can buy those round cups like that from a half dozen places online! Now is the perfect time to rebuild those X-overs with better parts from Parts Express or Madisound or whoever your fav speaker parts supplier is. I would remove those parts and solder them to a small circuit board you could mount inside the speaker. then just replace the cup.

Thanks Zero. I like the idea of putting the crossover and a new board. I am sure I can find some sort of plastic disc that I could mount the new speaker terminals. Maybe a piece of Plexiglas or some opaque plastic.

I already have the replacement caps from Parts Express. I was removing the old caps when I broke it.

You are right. This is DIY after all!
