Well, after getting married, starting and completing university and having a kid I'm slowly coming to the realization that many of the projects I have on the shelf are probably never going to get finished. Most have been sitting unused for 6 years. I'm looking to sell off some of the parts I've acquired over the years and make some of the cash back that I spent on them.
First up, 4x10mF 100V 85C Mallory Caps. They're the smaller ones, 2.5" wide by 4.5" high to the top of the lugs. $40+shipping Next, 4 x 22mF 100V 105C Cornell Dubilier caps. They have some dents in them, but they charge to rated voltage with no issues. $20+shipping The caps were all bought off Coulomb on the forum here. Big Capacitors for sale If you want all of the caps, I'd do $50+shipping Next, two Powertronix 208V/120V 1.9kVA toroidal transformers. These things are beasts, you obviously have to downrate them if you run at lower voltages, but when I hooked them up for testing they output +/- 85-90VDC after filtering. The transformers are 7.5" in diameter and 3" high, the two weigh about 60lbs together, I'm asking $30 + shipping. The last items are two black anodized heatsinks, about 12" x 5 7/8". The fins are 3", spaced about 3/8" apart with a 1/8" baseplate. Attached to the heatsink is the output stage of a monster Elliott Sound Products P68A-based amp. The first one has 5xMJL4281A and 5 MJL4302A BJTs equally spaced under an steel retainer, along with some output resistors. The transistors are all fine as far as I know, but it's not fully wired. It also has a gold back for some reason, though the rest is black. The second is functional and works fine, it also has 5xMJL4281A and 5 MJL4302A along with emitter resistors, zobel network and 4x1000uF 100V 105C caps per rail. I included the schematic of the output stage. If you want, I'll even throw in the P68A input stages that I was working on tuning before life happened. I know the transistors and circuit's probably aren't work much, so if you want consider them a bonus, if not I can strip them off, save the BJTs and toss the rest to save weight. It would pain my heart to do that to the nice one though, it took a lot of work to make it that pretty. ![]() Looking for $30 for the heatsinks + shipping, or $50 for the both of them. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Dave |

A couple clarifications. That should have been $30 each + shipping for the heatsinks or $50 for both, and there's also 9 of each output devices on one heatsink (18 total) as per the schematic, not 5 as mentioned.

Hello
Shipping for the two transformers to Toronto M6L 2N5 postal code. I prefer surface mail. Ha ha ha.. 60LB via air mail I think not affordable. These are not center taped, to use it need both. Greetings gabor |

Well, I haven't heard from the person who was interested in the Mallory caps for 4 days, so I'll put them back out there. Also, the Cornell Dublilier 22mF caps are 85C rated as shown in the picture, not 105C. My mistake, sorry.
