Pro Amp for Repair/Parts
A friend got two of these from an ebay auction, the idiot seller shipped this one without a top cover!
It took a hit, does not work, my repair skills have evaporated.
TCS Audio was a rebranding of Carvin that came and went. I received a schematic from Carvin’s service guy, can email it to the buyer. A replacement top cover is NOT available, darn.
32 (count em!) non counterfeit MJL21193/4 outputs, 10 10000uf 100v UCC cans, maybe 1000 watt toroid, 120 vac mains. For those with math skills, you can get an idea of the rail volts from the 400 watts at 8 ohms rating. Total bridged output 2400 watts at 4 ohms.
Model# is TA2400. The schemo has a 2005 date on it, so this is recent.
Made In America at the Carvin plant in Southern California, must have been not cheep.
$100, prefer local pickup in the SF Bay area, at 38 lbs net, shipping from 95127 would be…... a lot.
