FS: Audio Research SP9 and Classe CA100
Not very DIY I know, but it struck me that some of you guys might be interested in these and save me faffing about with EBay. The SP9 is silver and in very good condition. There's a a noticeable but shallow scratch on one of the knobs, but little else of significance. It has a manual and a box, and works well. About £600 would be nice, but I'll consider reasonable offers. The Classe CA 100 is black and is in very good condition apart from a couple of cosmetic issues. At some point in the last few years the 'C' and 'l' of the 'Classe' logo appear to have fallen off and are assumed eaten by the vacuum cleaner. It would not be beyond the scope of a DIY enthusiast to craft replacements... Also, I managed to drop a set of keys on one of the grab handles a few years back, denting it and causing me to swear for several minutes. This could be turned upside-down and be rendered relatively innocuous. This (unusual) carelessness aside, it's in excellent condition and is a nice amp. £400 would be nice, but again, reasonable offers will be entertained. I have no box for the Classe. They work well as a pair, sonically, but not particularly well cosmetically. Located in North Buckinghamshire, and best collected, although if distances are reasonable, I may be able to deliver. I reserve the right to advertise elsewhere- although I doubt I will for the next couple of weeks- and cheques would obviously have to clear first before you take possession. Reason for sale? More DIY.
Oh- although it's an unlikely trade, I'd cheerfully swap the Classe for a Michell Orbe platter upgrade. The SP9 too, although in that case there would have to be some money involved too...

Reason: Minor speeling eror...
