Default FS: Accuton, Eton, Visaton, and a nice variety of cherry veneered cabinets

Eton 4-300 mids $95 pair shipped US48
Eton 7-360 midwoofers $125 pair shipped US48
Visaton MHT12 tweeters $240 pair shipped US48

Accuton C44 2" dome mids $235 pair US48 shipped (currently backordered at Madisound, so snag these while they last)

All are in very good condition a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 because of age, a little mounting wear in the mounting holes that can't be seen with a screw in place. Visatons I'd rate at a 9/10. These are very nice sounding drivers and my price is greater than a 50% savings over new and includes shipping in the US48.

First up, is the cabinet I used to develop the RBR kit for Madisound in a flat cut cherry and clear poly finish. These have some telegraphing of **** joints coming through the veneer, but otherwise look pretty decent. They are lined with 3/4" Sonic Barrier and poly fill, which is included. You'll need to buy a 2" flared Precision port for the front ported box and drill holes for binding posts of your choice. Dimensions are roughly 7 3/4" wide, 20.5" tall, and 14.5" deep. The holes for the drivers are cut for standard 104mm flange tweeter and 5.5" Scan Speak 15W. Other drivers will work as long as you don't mind modifying the openings, which is pretty easy to do with a circle jig. Giving them away at $195.00 shipped US48 because of the imperfections and because they are just taking up space. Packing and shipping alone will come in around half that I'd imagine, so these are a good bargain for someone not too picky. Grills are NOT included.

Next, I have a pair of PE curved .38ft3 cabinets in cherry that have been used as test boxes. They are both in very good condition with not much going in in terms of blemishes or scratches. PE price on them is $93.96 each and I'll do them for $60each including shipping US48 for a total of $120 shipped US48/pair, grills are also included. You can see the front panel is cut for the standard variety 104mm frame tweeters and the woofer opening is 5 7/8", perfect for most 5.5" drivers. The port opening is cut for the PE 2" port with an opening of 2 3/8", which works well with the PE straight port tubes they sell. Ports and dampening materials not included.

This next pair of cherry finished MTM .75ft3 cabinets are PE curved models and retail for $129.75 each new. One has never been opened and is NIB. The other one I've used for testing and will include a new front baffle uncut. The body of the cabinet is in 9/10 condition. Very nice. Nothing else to really add here other than they will include grills not shown. Everything you'd get from PE, but at a nice reduced price of $185 shipped US48 for the pair, grills are included

And the best is saved for last. Long story short, I had these cabinets custom built up for me and I decided not to use them. They have a custom alumimum binding post plate that will house WBT or Dayton binding posts. I WILL INCLUDE the Dayton gold binding posts that go in the holes, not pictured. Also, there are grills for these with magnetic fasteners. I designed the cabinet to work with the standard PE .75ft grill, and they work flawlessly in this application and look great. So everything you see here is included, except I did not mount the binding posts yet, and those will be included in the price. There are minor sand through spots on the back and bottom, but nothing that only the most picky person would care about. So if you are looking for absolute perfection, don't bother. However, if you are looking for a speaker that was hand crafted by one of the finest woodworkers, want all mitered construction with 1" MDF material, and a very rigid cabinet. These semi gloss lacquered finished highly curly cherry cabinets might be for you. My pricing comes in at under what I paid for them and they are new. They accept the standard 104mm tweeter with very tight tolerances, so tight you can hardly get paper between the driver frame and opening. SB Acoustics mids fit well as do some Aurum Cantus 5" mods, as long as you can find something with the same diameter as the SB Acoustics 5" midwoofer you are good to go, unless of course you don't mind a smaller frame, like a Seas 5" driver, for example, or enlarging the holes. So enough details, here's the price for everything you see: $425 shipped for the pair US48, my loss is your gain, grills are included.

I'll respond to your email shortly. Looks like I can't edit my post above, so I need to make a small change to the condition of the PE .75ft3 cabinets. They are both like new and opened, one has a 2 1/8" hole in the middle of the back for a port. I thought one was still NIB, but was incorrect. I forgot I had used it to run some tests on a pair of Scan Speaks, and then later replaced the baffle with a new one. Other than that they are 9/10.

Jed

I have the RBR kit, was going vented but lost the details of the recommended box sizes
What size would you recommend?

Would any of the remaining cabinets work for the RBR kit vented?
