Default Rare Scan Speak 18w/8542-xx (8542 w/phase plug)

Info:
Scan Speak 18w/8542 with phase plug.

I got this driver in a roundabout way and I really just don't have a need for it. Furthermore, I don't know anything about it. It's a very interesting driver... I just don't know what I'd do with it.

I can't find any information on and I have no idea why/who used it for X purpose. I'm assuming it's a limited production run or something of the sort.
Might make an interesting center channel or if someone happens to have a set, a backup.

The following parameters were measured a few minutes ago using the smith & larson woofer tester 2, a 11x11" baffle template and a sealed box to get Vas/Bl/Sens. I can provide the impedance plot if desired.

Re = 5.6592 ohms
Fs = 43.8280 Hz
Zmax = 152.8676 ohms
Qes = 0.4469
Qms = 11.6240
Qts = 0.4303
Le = 0.1363 mH (at 1 kHz)
Diam = 139.5730 mm ( 5.4950 in )
Sd =15300.0439 mm^2( 23.7151 in^2)
Vas = 22.7913 L ( 0.8049 ft^3)
BL = 8.1915 N/A
Mms = 19.2406 g
Cms = 685.3603 uM/N
Kms = 1459.0865 N/M
Rms = 0.4558 R mechanical
Efficiency = 0.4035 %
Sensitivity= 88.0760 dB @1W/1m
Sensitivity= 89.5794 dB @2.83Vrms/1m

Condition:
They're in great shape. Not even signs of mounting them. I'd consider them at least LNIB (without the box, of course ).

Price:

I'm going to start @ $200 shipped, paypal payment, CONUS.

bump. I think there might be some confusion here. this is a single driver. not a pair of drivers.

Perhaps the confusion stems from the statement below. They're and them are dead giveaways!
Also $200 would be a good price for a pair, people are hopeful.

My bad. Probably a carryover from copy/paste sale thread formatting. I can't edit the thread now, either.

My price was a shot in the dark. I don't know what to price it for, given its rarity.

How about $135 shipped CONUS OBO. Again, this is driver that appears to not have even been used once. The tabs have no signs of use (no solder or wear from QDs).

If you're interested, shoot me an email to the one given in the OP.

Thanks
