ok, I found some Q1 & Q2 transistors.

I need some ZTX450 transistors... I had the wrong jfet (ztx550) in my F5 and that's why it smoked on me.

You can replace the ZTX450 (which is not a jfet but a small bipolar transistor) with pretty much any small NPN transistor, such as BC546 or whatever you have available; just make sure you connect it correctly, as pinouts vary. It works in the current limiter for the negative rail and does not affect sound at all. In fact, the amp will work without it just fine, but you would lose some overcurrent protection.

ztx450's are readily available from suppliers Digi-Key - ZTX450-ND (Manufacturer - ZTX450)

if you bought your 2sj74's on ebay you have about a 5% chance of getting non-counterfit ones .
