I thought I might ask here first. Anyone here have a phono-stage that you don'T use anymore?
I'm looking for a simple design, not to expensive phono stage. I'm looking to spend around 150-200$. This is meant for my first turntable and will replace the phono-stage of my marantz 2238b.
I just thought that this would be the most bang for the buck way to get my hand on a decent phonostage.
thanks
Otherwise, I'll build one. I just never build anything, and always manage to find a way to keep the high-voltage away from me!

Not a DIY tube phono pre, it is made by Antique Sound Lab, kind of like this
ANTIQUE SOUNDLAB
It uses 2 12AX7 and has a tube cage instead of tube shields. How about $135 plus shipping and PP fee? If you are interested in, you can email me via the forum.
