Default FS: drivers, drivers, drivers...

Sounds like a Motley Crue song huh?

OK, so it turns out I am planning to move soon. I need to clear out my extra goods, and boy do I have a lot of stuff! I need to move a bunch of drivers. A few I am reluctant to sell, but can't take it all. So here is the list with notes...

1) 4x Tang Band W8-740P 8" subwoofers. NIB, was an accidental order, but very useable in tapped horns. PE's Qty of 4 price is $62 (+heavy shipping). $50/ea obo.
Tang Band W8-740P 8" Subwoofer

2) 4x Tang Band W6-1139SI 6.5" subwoofers. NIB, good for tapped horns, like the Anarchy TH on avsforum. PE's Qty of 4 price is $58. $40/ea obo.
Tang Band W6-1139SI 6-1/2" Subwoofer

3) 2x TC Sound's TC-2+ 12" DVC subs. These are superb subs. NIB/NOS, except one doesn't have the orig box as it was damaged, but woofers are perfect. These were $225/ea new, asking $150ea.
O Audio - TC Sounds TC2+ Subwoofer Drivers - 10", 12", and 15"

4) 2-3x orig Lambda TD15X drivers. These were purchased used and were damaged in shipping. 2 of the damaged woofers were reconed and will work good as new. I have a woofer tester, so parameters can be verified, the third one need some work to make it workable again. Best offer....
here is the full story about these drivers
Quote:
These have a very long story associated with them. The short of it is I bought them off of a dude on another forum. This was before AE was back in business making these drivers. They are slightly different in appearance to the newer TD15X but supposedly measure the exact same. I have a WT3, so I can test the free air parameters but I can't easily test the VAS.

I had bought 4 of them of the dude. 1 was completely destroyed and I no longer have it. Two got reconed as their cones were ripped to shreds. The last one I still have but the voicecoil rubs on the pole piece. Apparently it can be repaired, but it isn't easy to do. I do have the instructions saved on my computer "somewhere", but it basically involves trying to pry the backplate of the magnet up and shim it until you can slowly work the plate back to center so the pole piece which is attached to the backplate is centered again. The magnets are so strong that it is going to be very hard to pry.

So the deal is, I am taking best offers on the two re-coned TD15Xs and the third will be a freebie if you want it. Otherwise I'll give it away to someone else (buyers of the two gets first dibs). All in all I paid as much as new for these because I wasn't compensated at all by the buyer (except a tiny bit that didn't even pay for the re-coning). They newer ones are $260/ea, but these are a little more of an unknown since with the re-cone the T/S parameters could have shifted a little. These will still have the amazing motors and the cones should be very similar. Millersound did the excellent work on the re-coning, fyi.

Two of the lambdas are shipping off. The one seized up lambda is free to anyone willing to come pick it up (I am not bothering to ship, too much of a hassle).

Other drivers still available.
