Default Wanted: Oscilloscope

Hi,

I am looking for a working 2-channel scope. It will be my first. I'm a poor student with kids so I can't spend a lot. If you have one that you think would suit me or know where I can get one please let me know.

edit: actually, you guys probably know better than I do if I need a 2-channel scope. if I can get by with one channel thats fine too.

Thanks,
Michael

A fully functional 2 channel 20 or 25mhz scope can be found used for $100 or less with a little patience.

Check your local Craigslist also. If you have a function generator and you find a scope locally, bring the FG with you to test the scope.

I live in the middle of nowhere so craigslist is a bit thin. This isn't the place to start a discussion about *which* cheap scope I should look for and those threads exist already -- but I may start a new one elsewhere anyway.

Location would be good to know. I recently got my first scope... at the same time that I got my second scope. 2 working tek 475s with 5 probes (and one has the DM44) for $200. Found in the "relative" middle of nowhere.
