I have a pair of JBL Model L300 speakers for sale. They came from a home here, on the Banana River, which was damaged by Tropical Storm Faye. Both L300 speaker cabinets sat on wet carpet for a long time, hence the square MDF box risers (3-4" tall) have dissolved. The lower cabinet of one speaker (S/N 17574) has extensive water-soak damage and would require some wood replacement before use. The other cabinet is fine; it only needs a replacement box riser. Both speakers have the original grills and frames ... in very good condition. Both have the original JBL smoked-glass tops. All drivers are in Good to Excellent condition except both woofers require new surrounds.
Even without the cabinets these speaker's components are worth at least $1000 - $2000 on the bay. I would prefer to see the whole lot get a good home and neither pay a seller's premium nor package & ship multiple times. Any reasonable offers will be considered. |
