Hi,
I have two pair of 2905/9000, I would be willing to let go of one pair. They are slightly used and all in good to very good condition. I am not sure what shipping would be like but I imagine it would be around 4kg total. If you are interested send me a PM or email with your regular email and I can forward some pics....I will let you choose which two of the four you want, although they are basically all the same. I also have 9500 and 9799 series in use I. A few projects and I can tell you there is little difference in sonics between any of these to my ears....just a slightly different impedance response on the graphs that would need to be adjusted for in XO design if you plan to substitute. They are not exact drop in replacements for each other, XOs mist be adjusted slightly.
Once you've seen the pics you can make me an offer
Sincerely,
Jeff

Guys you gotta be kidding - 9500 have quite diferent sonic than 9700. they even measures diferent, uses diferent voice coil height, diferent magnet system. to my ears 9500 is smooth, roled of and concentrated in 2-3khz , requires earlier HP,while 9700 is darker, more transparent and airy. and diferencies in speakers are NOT subtile. and they are NOT drop in replacment sonicaly.

Nonady said they were a drop in. Replacement...what I was saying really is between the 9000, 9300, and 9500 I can tell very little difference in my different speakers....essentially they are all excellent, flat, tweeters. I can tell some subtle differences between the 9500 and the 9700, and yes they look similar but beyond that they are very different drivers, more so than you even mentioned. But having said that, none of them are drop in replacements for each other so I have never had a side by side test btween the drivers with matched mid woofers, etc...so its hard to compare. My 9700's are matched in an MTM with some 18w8454k's and the 9500's are paired to some Vifas, my 9300's with some Morels, and the 9000 was with some Vifa P17's and some Silver flutes....so it's difficult to say other than they are all exceptional. I think my favorites are the 9500 in the end.
Jeff
