Hello Nate, looking at the symbol on the caps, they are Hitachi. I would guess that HCG means Hitachi Capacitor Group?
Peace, Dave |

I'm not sure how many of you have any experience with an Adire Tempest. One of the recommended alignments from Adire is the Extended Bass Shelf. With another Tempest (now damaged due to a screw through the surround) I built this monster. It was about 12 cubic ft in volume and had twin 4" x 19" ports. My friend brought over this pipe organ cd with a 16hz pedal note that shook us to our souls! With other more normal music it sounded fantastic. I would still be using this as a sub in my stereo if my wife would allow it...

Thanks CZ-
I meant that the sub is as I recevied it brand new from the manufacturer. I have also not used it at all. I have two tempest subs. One is new and for sale and one is damaged sitting in my garage... |

Screwdriver through the surround should be pretty easy fix, just get some foam glue from a hobby store, it's pretty much the same thing as aleene's tacky glue.
