AS Crearly seen on picture 2 it is 0.25 mm

Just push troug with drill bit or punch is realy soft stuff.
I do not use the hole as I clamp the mosfets with bar across the top (much more even pressure this way and performance of kerafoll increase.

From graph Thermal resistance is 1/2 from 20 to 60 N/cmsquare
or 29 to 87 psi in pints instead of metric.

I got that as it is minimum quantity I could get and as I use TO220 TO247 and so on it saved me having to buy uge stock for each different size.

I would like to help as many as I can so it will be cut in to strips of 375mm by say 20mm or multiples of that

(where 20 mm is eighter the lenght of TO 220 or width of TO247)

I will need to have beter look this for exact sizes needed and I am open to suggestions.

sizes such as 130 by100 are not realy economical as we would both have loads of waste and this stuff is expensive as you well know

Kerafoll 86/83

I have a sheet of Kerafoll 86/83
Size is 500 X 300 X 0.25 mm
From data sheets I have taken measurement of the mosfets I am using on MY F5

As follows.

Toshibas 2SJ201 and 2SK1530

Width 20.5 mm H 26 mm

Fairchild FQA 12P20 TO3P

W 15.6 mm H 19.9

I have also being using FQP19N20 TO220 together with the FQA12P20 on My F5 for the last 4 months with no problems, as I could not find the FQA19N20

W 9.9 mm H 15 mm

I would like to benefit as many as I can by cutting the sheet in strips of
375 mm by 21 mm to give same overlap

This would allows for:
Toshibas to fit vertically so 375 / 26 = 14

Fairchild TO3P horizontally so 375 / 20 = 18

Fairchild TO220
2 side by side vertically so (375 / 15) X2 =50.

Price for each strip £14 + P&P

I am open for suggestions and depending on demand I will consider cutting different widths
