Have you heard with Torben? I think he had some for sale a while ago, but decided to keep them because of low interest? I am not sure though if he is using them in a recent project?

Oh yes, twisted his arm good and hard

but he is keeping them, for some stupid reason!

There ought to be LAWS against keeping speaker elements like that unless you have a project to be realized within 24 hours...

I guess Tad's dealer would be happy to sell you a pair you need so much

What project you have in mind for those?

I'll wait until the boating session starts, and the need for anothr 2 ft. kicks in!

This world is not brimming with TAD-dealers exactly, and why not check with fellow speakerbuilders first anyway?

These will go into a 4-way system together with TD-4001, ET-703 and a special in-house bass system comprising 5 x ALTEC 515 C Alnico pr. side, in an OB/line source configuration.

Interesting but why do you feel you need 1201? Id rather stick something like TD2002 in between 4001 and 703 and run 4001 all the way down to 300-400Hz where it sounds half decent

Beware: this auction has been around for quite a long time, an I think it even had winning bids at some point, but came back online...
If you look at the 3rd photo you will see that one of the baskets is different. Maybe an early model?...
