For Sale: Vandersteen Model One (pair)

Hello fellow DIY guys!

I have a nice pair of Vandersteen Model 1's available. I recently acquired a pair of Thiel CS 2.2's and these need a good home!

cosmetically and sonically excellent. No issues. Socks are good (no tears)and the veneer is intact, with the slightest separation where the tops meeds the edges. Lemon oil will make them 90+%.

I got these used, and the literature I have indicates 'model 1B'; however my understanding is that 1B's start with a "B" at the beginning of the serial number which these do not have. I don't know that it matters, but wanted to point that out.

Has adjustable tweeter level and standard banana connection. No modifications or repairs have been done as far as I am aware, and as I mentioned, they sound great. These are not 'repair' projects (for a change!)

Pick-up makes the most sense (I'm in Long Island NY) or you could pay more to UPS than to me... But, I'd like to see them go to a good home. They fit with most decor easily, and I drove them for many years with a Counterpoint SA-220 and they were/are a good match for that amplifier, as well as many others.
