It is time to clear out my sheds and cupboards
![]() Ideally I would like someone to turn up at my house with cash and a truck and just take it all away with them. However, I am a realist and understand that this won't happen. Therefore everything will be sold as Families of items, i.e all Turntables, Arms, Phono stages and Cartridges as a lot. List to follow and open to offers. Valves, Transformers Tube caddies as a lot. List to follow and open to offers. Speakers, Drivers, X/O parts plus L.E.A.P 5 and L.M.S with mike and PAC 4 tester case. Test gear, includes Scopes, two tube testers (working) plus a third for restoration, Cap testers x2, VTVM's at least four, 2 or 3 freq gens and oscillators. Other stuff includes 2 Marantz CD 73's, lots of parts in Ikea cabinets (wood) various fixtures, Resistors, Caps and boards for amps and projects. Heatsinks, Power amps and general "stuff" Pick up is from Perth in Western Australia. I may be willing to pack and consign but please understand my time is finite. |

Turntables,
Thorens TD 124 early serial number, in very good nick. Commonwealth 12D4 the worlds coolest idler drive. Commonwealth 12C4 rarer than rocking horse poo, with lamp and low light knobs fitted. Way cooler than a poxy old 301 or 401. Garrard 401. N.O.S never fitted, mounted, touched or fondled. In box with tag and templates for maxplank plinth. VPI mark 4 with ET2 and compressor. Grado cart. Sony PS2250 motor unit, sublime direct drive. Orpheus Silex x2 for parts or rebuild. Two good machines if rebuilt. Sugden Rim Drive, early and very heavy, with underplatter strobe disc. Various other TT's and parts that I'll have to rediscover. Tonearms, SAEC 308 Long with extra counterweight ET 2 with compressor and two wands Moerch DP 6-12 with red arm and blue arm. NIB Sony ten inch transcription arm, early model PUA 113 maybe? two RB 300's with mods various Jap arms for experimentation Grace 701? Excel ES 801 a superb arm in new condition with another for spares. Phono stages, Marcof PPA for MC pair of Pass Xono boards loaded and ready to go, just add power. More to come as I find it...... |

Gregg, The numbers just ring out. Are you in WA? And I have no 8M's only the 12's.
The TT's that were in plinths have gone to a new home, with the tonearms and the MC's. Thank you Jezza for the offer, I hope you get a ton of fun from them. I still have the Garrard 401 in the box and a Sony PS2250 DD motor. Plus a Denon DP80 motor unit. Speakers, The ATC Neo's are spoken for pending a satisfactory test (stored for years). Yammies may be spoken for as well, on hold with the ravens for 24Hours. JBL's are 2225 2200 2 Alnico 1 ferrite. Needing a total rebuild, shed life hasn't been kind to them. Shipping O/S will be prohibitive. I will post a full list of drivers that are left and accept an offer for the whole lot. If the job lot is still here at the end of Feb my son will split it and sell as items. |
