Pulled from some bookshelf units years ago and put in the closet. I'm digging out some stuff and posting it here.
ONE tweeter: with mounting gasket and fairly clean face (with a few small, light blemishes, viewable in reflective light source only & unnoticeable a few feet away). Close-up a few nicks mostly on the corners, but no missing paint-- 9 on 10 for 1981 model. (back paper label was torn off by tape used to hold cardboard protector across face front-- keeping silk dome safe). Back label was re-tapped in place but probably want to remove it (or tape it better). SOLD< SOLD >SOLD... TWO woofers: Both with rear mounting gaskets. NOTE: one woofer is in good shape. Woofer #2 has a wrinkle in the cone, around one side of the VC which indicates it's been impacted (from a kid running into it years ago). This said, it sweeps as well as the first woofer on the bench using Sheffield Lab's 20-20k continuous warble without any noticeable break-up. I also tested it with some hard 40 Hz square waves without noticing any issues. Running these tests around 60-80 watts I feel this woofer would work fine for the average user and I would dope the back of the cone along the wrinkle's seam if I planned to use it at higher power. I am especially finicky about full disclosure on anything I buy sight unseen-- so FYI above and price reflects the woofer #2 concern. BTW: both woofers were dead quiet starting at 20Hz on the warble test so they are mechanically sound in that regard also (good stuff usually is). $90 for both woofers and tweeter SHIPPED or $70 for woofers and $35 for tweeter SHIPPED (To the US 48). I DO PACK VERY WELL and do not skimp on shipping which is significantly higher this year. Checks and money orders only please. In a hurry, please look elsewhere as I am 20 miles from the nearest terminal and will wait for checks to clear prior to shipping. Much Respect! After trying for 20 minutes I can NOT figure out how to edit my first post. Last night AFTER posting I had an "edit" box below it-- today I don't.
I don't have pics right now but there is an ebay listing with pics of the exact same models and even with the same year (date) stamp on them. I am now trying to copy this pics here... but eBay won't let me. So until I find a camera here is the easiest way to see a pair of these now. Go to eBay UK and search item #150545624192... mine look exactly like these in all aspects. They are a very cool frame design and they were ahead of their time I'll try and figure out how to edit posts and put up pictures over the next day or two with time. Sorry and when I get my own quote set-up below it will read "Nothing's Easy" ps. I do have the second tweeter with one of the looping wires detached from the dome. I have micro soldered VCs before but I'm not interested and if someone wanted to try, I'd send it to them for $10 shipped (otherwise I'm tossing it in about a week along with a large closet of "stuff") |

In any case, there's a 30 minute editing window after a post. You can either follow up with additions/corrections in a reply or contact me or any of the other moderators for help if the edit needed is egregious.
