greetings..odd how life tweaks priorities (as I eye the new Yamaha home theater..grrr, yet smile at the new wife)
Original owner. 1976, pair of Epicure 20 speakers. Epicure replaced all 4 complete woofers at 9 1/2 years of the 10 year warrantly due to the foam's degradation in 2 of them (amazing warranty). Those woofers were refoamed in 2001 and one vibrates. Crafty-in-many-ways ex-wife replaced the original speaker cloth, the badges are here, no factory literature is. The Harman Kardon 730 Twin-Powered receiver appears to have an output transistor weak and breaking down under load and the display lamps are burnt out. I am answering questions, sending pictures, and entertaining reasonable offers from my "theatered" home in Columbus, Ohio. |

I'll bet all the 730 needs is to have its volume pot cleaned with deoxit, you can get it at radio shack.
