FS: Epicure 20 speakers / Harmon Kardon 730 receiver

greetings..odd how life tweaks priorities (as I eye the new Yamaha home theater..grrr, yet smile at the new wife)

Original owner. 1976, pair of Epicure 20 speakers. Epicure replaced all 4 complete woofers at 9 1/2 years of the 10 year warrantly due to the foam's degradation in 2 of them (amazing warranty). Those woofers were refoamed in 2001 and one vibrates. Crafty-in-many-ways ex-wife replaced the original speaker cloth, the badges are here, no factory literature is.

The Harman Kardon 730 Twin-Powered receiver appears to have an output transistor weak and breaking down under load and the display lamps are burnt out.

I am answering questions, sending pictures, and entertaining reasonable offers from my "theatered" home in Columbus, Ohio.

I'll bet all the 730 needs is to have its volume pot cleaned with deoxit, you can get it at radio shack.
