The speakers that never were...
I have 2 pairs of Seas H400 alum. dome tweeters and 2 pairs of 5.25 in Seas P14RC. Brand new, newver used. Still in the original packaging. Built a pair for a neighbor back in the mid 90's and LOVED them and ordered a few pairs to build as they were excellent sounding for the money. The tweeters are classic and very smooth sounding yet detailed. The vented back chamber was really a significant improvement over the H398 which was a very popular tweeter in the Seas line for many years. The P14's are quite efficient for such a small driver. Fairly smooth and easy to work with. Make an excellent 2,5 or MTM for low powered tubes. If your need these to finish off an old kit/design from the web or replacements for a set you already have thoguht these might be more valuable that is really looking for these classic Seas drivers?!? If any one is interested. Not a firesale, but no reasonable offers will be refused. Please contact me at richmeinke@yahoo.com. Thanks, Rich |
