Default FS -- NAD C372

This unit has the issue where the filter caps failed, technical service notes:
http://www.itxpress.se/c372.pdf
... where some solder joints were less than optimal.
The service manual (above) shows how to fix this.
I had the amp evaluated at NAD service in NY and they confirmed the cap replacement and wire replacement, see above tech notes.
Other than that, the amp has always been kept in beautiful condition.
Box, manual, chord. Remote has one missing button which does not address the c372, but is for some other NAD piece.
asking 300 dollars or best offer

Does the unit work right now? The technical service sheet says that these modifications should be done for any reason the amp shows up for service, not because of failure. It goes on to say that if failure occurs very serious damage to the unit may occur. So the question at hand is did failure occur and if so did any damage occur to the rest of the circuit? If it isn't working right now then really it's a cat in sack. Maybe a guarantee could be offered, if repairs made does not bring amp into normal operation the a refund is in order.....

The unit does not work.
The authorized service center stated that the four main capacitors... I believe they are 10,000 micro farads each need to be replaced and that they follow the tech note recommendation regarding those wires.
They wanted 325 or may be 350 for the guaranteed repair... way too much for capacitors.
Are you qualified to replace caps and do recommended service, if so, I surely will refund.
Service said unit had no other damage
