6EM7 amp, battery bias, some boutique-y parts (audio note caps/resistors, kiwame resistors, icw caps in ps) w/ volume control, based on gary kaufman's schematic: 6EM7 DC Coupled Triode Tube Amplifier
chassis is diy/sanded metal, opt are hammond 125ese, single input, headphone output.. some significant scratches around mute switch.. functionally the amp has worked without an issue for the 4+ years i've enjoyed it. i've used it mostly w/ headphones. usd 200? thanks, matt Last edited by mattk; 21st November 2010 at 08:37 PM. Reason: fixing url for schematic/info |
