I'm sorting through my stuff and offering the items here. Most of what I kept was for DIY audio projects. I'll post new items as I come across them. Unfortunatly, I can't edit my posts for long so you may need to look through the entire thread to find something you might want.

If a mod is listening is there a way you can allow me to edit this post indefinitely?

Here's the first of many large power transformers. It would be great for a DIY transistorized amplifier. Lot of taps suit many design requirements. It was from a 200w reciever.

Here are the approximate OC (open circuit) voltages.

120v primary (thermally protected)
42-0-42 secondary (fairly heavy gauge winding)
16.3-11-0-11-16.3 secondary
5.8v secondary

Next up. A power amp on a board. 2-channel. 2SD370+2SB530 outputs. Preamp board, regulator, power transformer, and outputs on a 4x TO-3 heatsink. Condition unknown. Looks like it may have a blown channel judging by 2 burnt 100ohm resistors on the preamp board. Inputs/power/outputs conveniently labled on the silkscreen.

Will seperate.

2 B&W BZ200 8" woofers. From '85. Doesn't take much to drive these. Rubber surround intact. Also 2 DM110 crossovers and one B&W dome tweeter (someone need a replacement?).

I have a number of tubes - tons of them. I have mullard 12AT6, and 6BM8 that are favorites around here.

6922, 7N7, 7F7, PL84, 6Y6, a quad of Ruby 6L6GC, quad of Electro Harmonix EL34 (1 may be bad), and quite a few more...

I might be interested in your 6L6GC set. New or used? Maybe the 6Y6 also but it's a bit of an oddball. The guitar guys sometimes swap them in place of 6V6s. The 12AY6 is a single triode right? Do you have any chassis or transformers?

On another note. Here's some more power transformers to put on the parts table. They are 120v primary with a 14v center tapped 250ma secondary. Made by Stancore #P8577. Good small transformer for SS preamp? New in box. I have 3. 1 has no box. The primary has 4 wires and I'm not sure if it's 2 120v windings or something different. IF it's 2 SEPERATE windings, one could be used for HV supply but the tube must use a low current heater. Being rated at 14v you could manage a 12v DC heater supply. A little head room for the diodes' voltage drops.

EDIT - There are indeed 2 seperate 120v windings. These could be used for a tube preamp's HV and heater supply.

Another medium sized power transformer. Made by Sansui. R2110XX BE3-GDP

Primary: 120v 220v 240v
Secondary: 16-0-16v + 27.5-0-27.5v (common CT) and 6v (seperate winding)

Terminals labeled on top. Voltages copied from label. Not sure if those are OC or loaded measurements.

Yes, the 12AY6 is a single triode...don't know if I have one...

The 6Y6 can be subbed for a 6V6, but some would cringe at the thought - I have done it on an old Magnevox amp. Sounded good...

The Ruby 6L6GC test great on my tester. Also have a lot of Regulation tubes (OD2, OD3)

Chassis and trannies, I beleive I have a set (power and output pair) for EL34, and I think a few more...I would have to look...

Let me know what you find.

6l6 can be a straight plug in for a 6V6(my favorite tube, for guitar amps)
EL34 might be a better sub especially if B+ voltages are anywhere near 400v.with some minor mods...
E

Completely off topic but for a free bump... My amp will use 6L6s but I don't know the condition of my tubes. My B+ is about 408v with tubes. An extra set from john would be nice to have.

Good Morning, "Doesn't take much to drive these". Any idea on how efficient these are? Any "specs" on them @ all? I have a pair of Hammond 125ESE TX's, new, floating around. Maybe we could work something out?
