Price includes shipping in all 50 states + P.R.:
email for pics Panasonic EAS-10TH200A $120/pr This is a pair of Panasonic EAS-10TH200A Planar Tweeters (originally marketed by New York Audio Labs) in very good condition. They were just tested and sound excellent. They use substantial, very powerful magnets. They are a cut above the Infinity Emits and other similar standard ribbon, planar, membrane tweeters but not as good as the major heavy hitters like Raven or LCY. They can be crossed over at 3rd or 4th order and used as a regular tweeter or 1st or 2nd order and used as a super tweeter. Used as a super tweeter, these give similar results to very expensive add on super tweeters at a fraction of the price. JVC Ribbon Tweeters $50/pr This is a pair of JVC Planar / Ribbon Tweeters (sold under the Radio Shack name 40-1390) in very good condition. They were purchased new, tested and then sat in storage for several years. They were just tested again and sound excellent. They can be used as regular tweeters or super tweeters. Each has a 2nd order crossover attached which can be used or bypassed. These are similar in quality to Infinity Emits. They are not as clean way down low as they are up high. If you use them as regular tweeters, they are equivalent to dome tweeters at about $50/ea. If you use them as super tweeters, they are surprisingly good (for their price). Foster Tweeters $85/pr This is a pair of Foster (Fostex) planar tweeters. They were just tested and sound excellent. They are better than any $100/ea dome tweeter and a cut above the Infinity Emits. They have a narrow mounting depth of just ¾” so they can be used where most other high quality tweeters would be too big. They can be crossed over at 3rd or 4th order and used as a regular tweeter or 1st or 2nd order and used as a super tweeter. Used as a super tweeter, these give similar results to very expensive add on super tweeters at a fraction of the price. The current version sells for $187/pr at Madisound. Dynaudio Tweeters $85/pr This is a pair of Dynaudio 1" dome D28/2 4ohm Tweeters. They have received light use, sound excellent and have just been tested. |
