Hey guys, I have started building some really excellent headphone amplifiers I like to call "CMOY Killers"
All they need is a power supply around +-15Vdc CMOY KILLER Class-A Headphone Amplifier/Buffer 500mWpc! - eBay (item 190439206746 end time Oct-02-10 13:37:39 PDT) |

each of the op-amp devices costs $9-10. then include the board, caps, ebay and paypal fees, shipping, and the price is justified.

Why do you state "No input or output capacitors needed"? Since there is no servo, if a noob buys this, connects a source with DC offset, and proceeds to fry their headphones; will you reimburse the cost of said headphones?
Supply decoupling looks less than optimal. Did you bother to read the datasheets first? EDIT: Nevermind about the poor layout, I see you didn't design it. It seems to be the same PCB jims_audio sells.

Right, this is not my design. But heres what matters: it sounds great and is very powerful for a reasonable price.
Bump! |
