I want to sell my beloved DAC. It is based on the elektor DAC2000 with matching upsampler.
75 ohms SPDIF input --> Crystal CS8420 24Bit/96kHz upsampler --> Burr Brown DF1704 digital filter --> two Burr Brown PCM1704-K (crown) DAC chips --> two OPA627 I/V converters --> 75 kHz Bessel filter --> OPA627 impedance converters --> unbalanced RCA stereo output. DC-coupled. Tent XO clock with separate power supply. torodial transformers for all power supplies. All audio resistors and caps are non-magnetic. I used Vishay-Dale and Allen Bradley; film caps (filter) are non-magnetic 1% polypropylene. electrolytics Sanyo (Oscon) and Nippon-Chemicon (PS, PSA), Elna (Silmic II). some Panasonic FC and ordinary electrolyticsas well as special ceramic types in some digital circuits material cost was above 500 Euros, which is what I am asking for. payment via paypal or bank transfer; Shipping within europe no problem, outside please ask. the dac comes on a plywood board ready to play or in a cnc machined aluminium housing with 100 milled front, but that will cost 200 euros more. if you are interested please feel free to contact me via email.
