I've decided to let go of my 350Hz round Tractrix Edgarhorns and thought that I would see if someone here might be interested. I have run with these for quite some time in my main system and have been entirely thrilled with them. However, fall session is just around the corner and papa needs to take care of a little college tuition so off they go.
The finish is 7-8 applications of low gloss Tung oil using steel wool between applications. Very nice finish and wonderful condition overall. No cracks or splits. The specie of wood for turning was Poplar as most of Bruce's horns are that I'm aware of. The character/coloration of the wood runs from honey to chocolate and is a very pretty pair in my opinion. The 350Hz Edgarhorn was designed for use with 2" or 1.4" compression drivers (with 1.4" adapters also by Bruce). I will include the 1.4" adapters with the horns. This pair was completed in Sept. of '03 as evidenced in the photos. I purchased them a year or so ago by a gentleman who ordered this pair from Bruce but left them boxed and never used them. I finished them myself after acquiring them. ![]() The rest of the photos are in the following Photobucket File. If you would like to see more specific pics just let me know. 350Hz Edgarhorn pictures by dou1 - Photobucket $900 obo shipped (with 1.4"adapters included) within the Continental US.
