Hi, I have a few items i would like to offer for sale, this was a couple of projects that never got off the ground and i have other needs now, namely finishing my speakers.
1x Sony 337ESD, no need to say anything about the pedigree, condition is exellent, the facia is mint, top has very light scuffs and inside looks new. judging by the condition of the remote controll I would say this has had very little use, certainly none by me suffice to test it with cdr's which play fine. Please feel free to ask questions if your not famillier with this machine, i am guessing it will be purchased by someone that allready knows how good it is and the potential it has so i will save you all the usual blah, blah. 2x TDA1541A S1 single crown chips, a matched pair. Serial No.s. 11153/HSH91114 2. these are new, never used and bought for the above player 1x shift ic to make the Sony nos. I have done this mod on a cheaper 227 along with replacing the DAC's for a friend and all I can say is I bought it all again for myself to do it on this flagship. I will chuck the IC in with the 337 if wanted. I have PICs of the 227 mods and I can send pics of the items up for sale if requested allthough these will be from my phone, please PM me if your interested. I also have a set of class A power supplies that i got for my creek CD60, since sold. They were purchased from Audio gd although it looks like they are no longer avail. They were originally intended to provide seperate rails for the TDA and a clock mod, they look very well built and have a trim pot which I believe adjusts the current output, each one has a sticker marking what they have been set to for the various rails but if you know what you are doing they can be adjusted for other tasks, they are def not a cheap linear type supply's, im affraid i cant remember the details but they have 5 small transistors and 2 large ones that are designed to be mounted to some form of heat sink like the chassis of the player. here are the voltages, sorry but i cant recall exactly where they were intended to be used, they have been gathering dust for a while. 1x +5v 220ma 1x +5v 100ma 1x -5v 80ma 1x +5v 80ma 1x -15v 80ma I would prefer local pickup of the CDP, although it has transport screws built in, I hate posting expensive items, at the end of the day if it gets picked up you can see it working, peice of mind for everyone, ive read too many horror storys of kit not working on delivery due to couriers throwing stuff around. If it has to go by post then it will be well packed but allow for a decent postage cost, this thing is heavy! My location is between Reading and Newbury. Feel free to make me offers for everything via PM Cheers Alan |
