a perfectly good Phillips CDM4/19 laser assembly, bought from Germany but no longer required, as the problem with my CD player is not the laser assembly.
I am not looking to make a profit on it, so its up for £47 ex postage (no offers) Thanks. |

Hi Graham
I'm planning a diy toploader and wondered if this is the laser only or the complete swing arm assembly? Is the unit new or salvaged? Thanks |

its the complete unit. Basically the unit that I had (Orelle CD100) I had presumed that the laser had gone, but upon installing a new one, found the same fault. The old laser (the one I am selling) reads the TOC fine and goes through the tracks at lightening speed, so seems fine, the problem with my CD player I think, is a servo CAP (thanks to the guys on here for that)
I am only selling this one as opposed to the new one that I bought because I dont want to take the unit apart again, as it was a bit of a faff getting it in. So I am selling this one as 100% working, if not I will consider money back to you, as I trust the guys on here to be honest with me. If you want me to email you some pictures send me a private message with an email address. Last edited by grahamfocal; 7th August 2010 at 09:00 AM. |

To be exact this is the old complete laser assembly with swing arm from my CD player in 100% working order and immaculate condition, apologies for any confusion, only kept the new one in the player as it was a faff to install, and dont want to remove it again. |

Thanks Graham
I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew on this one. I cannot find driver boards for this unit anywhere?? I may have to bit the bullet and go for the CD-PRO2 kit? Saving pennies as we speak! |
