WTB IRFP9240 MOSFETs

Hi All,

Been looking around on the internet to replace the output stages in an amp I've got. I'm looking for 2x5 (2 amp sections, 5 MOSFETs each. 10 total.) of these.

Digikey lists them as on order too. Is this a current production part that's just high in demand?

Have you checked to see if these need to be matched. Usualy an output
stage will need matched devices.

I'm looking into it. The schematic specifies 20-30mV across 5% .47 ohm source resistors.

The Vishay spec sheet doesn't give a spread of drain currents, so I'm not sure how to calculate the unmatched spread I might get...

I have some. I'm figuring out how I want to approach this. By finding matched sets, matching myself, or buying unmatched and seeing how that goes.
