Take a loof at the Newform website, hover over products, click on surplus items, there's a bunch of multichannel receivers and amps they used in testing and measurement for reasonable prices. Still more than $100 though. There's a bunch of these: Panasonic SA-XR57 Receiver with 6X 100 Watts for $250.

Small 2-channel amps would also work well. Or parts to build them might be even better.

This looks pretty nice. I don't really care for the extra features, but I can't be too picky. The highest I've seen one sell for is $211, other than that Newform site. I saw some one sell one on a forum for $150. At that price I would probably buy it.

I need to find 2-pin euroblock connectors for this though and it's not going well after about an hour or two of searching. I found a 3-pin connector that looks like it's the same style I have at digikey.com, but not a 2-pin connector.
