Hi Corben,

There was also an old site (diy-high-end.com) that provided CD-Pro2LF modules, but its reputation was awful, because of parts not shipped, parts missing, no answer to e-mails, etc ...

However, it seems that there is now a new site (AudioCDPro) with much better prices than Dantimax for the CD-Pro2LF module.
They also sell tools to program your own user interface or complete control boards with VFD too.

Could be a good option...

Thank you for your input
I've been recently advertised by mail for this new WEBShop site.
But I've changed my mind, too much projects...
I've got second hand CDM12 Industrial aside, but haven't tested it yet.
I hesitate to sell as I don't know if it works.

Hi Korben,

Indeed, the CDM12 Industrial Modules are quite old.
They were replaced by the CD-Pro modules in 1997 !

Hence, you might have a few problems related to the optical section.
After such a long time, the grease on the sledge bar might have gone wrong too, which could cause playability problems (wrong behavior of the actuator).

In case you get back into your CD Player project, best would be to get a brand new CD-Pro2LF module, or at least a CD-Pro2M generation (which is not RoHs but I do not think you care about it ;))
