I need to clear out some projects here. For sale:
TDA1541 twin DAC kit. This includes: TDA1541 twin DAC PCB, fully stuffed including two TDA1541 DAC chips and CS8412 receiver. Matching tube output stage PCB, not assembled but parts included. This PCB has all powersupply and signal parts for a 6DJ8/6S45 type one tube output stage except tubes. PCB for opamp-based output stage, assembled. This kit was produced by DIYaudiocraft in Hong Kong. The company no longer exists and there is no documentation, but it is a straightforward TDA1541 implementation including powersupply and the DAC board is already built. Beautiful PCB, all TDA1541 chip powersupplies are separately TL431 shunt regulated. Sanyo Os-con caps. Nice. NOTE: the CS8412 receiver section doesn't seem to work here. Will need troubleshooting if you use the SPDIF (see USB receiver below for alternative). Includes CS8412 on socket mount, plus additional CS8414 with PCB for DIP adapter, can be used with CS8412 socket. This kit cost about $300 new unassembled, and was a bargain at that price when you see the parts and PCB quality. Add a +-18V tranny and I2S input and it is ready to run. I was going to use USB input, see USB receiver for sale below. Price: $150 includes shipping in US48. Way less than parts cost alone. DIYParadise USB receiver kit. New, unused, unopened in original packaging. Link to new product: USB Convertor - SGD50.00 : Welcome to the diyparadise e-store!. Price new is SGD$50 or US$36, plus shipping. For sale $25 includes shipping in US48. Outputs SPDIF or I2S depending on configuration. Can be used with TDA1541 DAC above. DIYParadise "Rudolph Broertjes' SS I/V Gain Stage." Nice LED-biased jfet output I/V stage. Was going to use it with TDA1541 kit above. New, unopened, unused in original packaging. Runs on +12V powersupply. This was about SGD$60, or US$44 plus shipping from Malaysia. For sale $30 including shipping in US48. 2x Gary Pimm PMCCCS Gen 3 PCBs with most needed parts. This is the PCB for the Gary Pimm "pentode mosfet cascode constant current source." Includes most (but not quite all) needed parts. $25 including shipping in US48. This is less than the cost of parts alone. Contact nate@nateandryoko.com if you are interested. |
