Default FS: 3x ECC33, 5x ECC35 both brown base.

Hey there everybody,

Bought these a couple of years ago along with a bunch of guitar amp tubes and decided to save them for a rainy day. Initially, I wanted to keep these for the day that i build a really good hi-fi or a preamp that uses 6SN7s/6SL7s.

Unfortunately, the bills are barking at the door, and I still have an unpaid student loan to take care of ASAP; since it doesn't look like I'll be using them any time soon, I figured I should pass them on to someone who actually can. Besides, it would probably be a bit irresponsible of me to torture them in guitar amps, which is what i build generally.

I've never really sold tubes on a forum before, and only once before on eBay, so If I screw up somewhere or have unrealistic expectations, please be kind. I'm just going by the information that's available about these guys.

Notes:
1. "Good" Scale on my B&K 650 goes up to 6000
2. The manual suggests no specific settings for the ECC3x, so 6SN7 and 6SL7 settings were used (it actually does suggest a setting for the ECC35, but there seems to be an error on the part of B&K because a pentode socket is suggested). 3. Furthermore, for 6SL7 testing, the manual simply states: "tube good if reads 1200" - a more detailed testing is not possible.

THE ECC33s:

2x ECC33 in red Mullard boxes,
1x ECC33 unboxed, packaged in a brown corrugated paper sleeve, probably from the old packaging.

These look very clean and all tested like new. The glass is smoked, but no telltale signs of use as such. The only means of testing that I have is a B&K 650 Dynaquik, so I'm sorry that I can't provide you with any information regarding cathode current.

Test data for ECC33:
A: NIB, Box more or less intact. Etched Code: 5K2 R7J3. Tr1: about 5650 Tr2: 5500
B: NIB, Box a bit shabby and torn on one side. Etched Code: 5K2 R7J3. Tr1: about 5300 Tr2: 5200
C: Unboxed in brown corrugated roll. Etched Code: 5K2 R7J3 Tr1: about 5750 Tr2: 5800

The ECC35s

2x used, 3x NIB (one of them has the original mullard sheet wrapped around it.... like it makes a big difference to the tone  )

All tested well above 1200 (the specified "good"). Three are boxed, of which two look fresh and one looks used but only because of gray marks on the dome above the filaments, the others do not have these marks. A picture of the marks is included. Two are in white boxes, the labels are almost completely wiped and seem to be used (the same marks above the filaments), but tested VERY strong as well, touching the 2400 mark (double of "good"), not sure how much that really means since it's not that detailed. All of them have he acid etch RU4 B8B except for one, which reads RU4 B8K.

Prices: Ideally, I'd like to see around $100 for each ECC33, $75 for each used ECC35s and $160 for each NIB ECC35, plus shipping at actuals. All 8 of them for a flat $775 paypaled and shipped worldwide. I sincerely hope that this is fair pricing.

if there are any other details that you would like, please post them here. if there are any other tests you'd like me to perform, i'd be glad to do that, as long as the time and budget permits. The rar files include unsorted pictures.

PayPal would be my preferred method of payment; shipping will be at actuals. Please consider the fact that I live in India now, so shipping will certainly be higher than if it was from the States. Don't worry about the packaging though, i'll make sure that even the worst handlers can't harm these babies

Thanks for reading!
