Made with 5/8" Baltic Birch plywood. The wood is bare and ready for the stain/finish of your choice. $285 for the pair including binding posts and Zobel network. Local delivery, only. I'm located about 70 miles east of Santa Fe, NM.
I built these speakers to get first-hand experience with the Full Range phenomenon. According to the buzz, only FR speakers can reproduce music as coming from a point source without the distortion or phase anomalies associated with crossovers and multiple drivers. The result is supposed to be an "auditory epiphany" but I don't hear it.
Perhaps all the Swans need is a little more tuning and someone with a good ear and an interest in the FR sound can bring them to life. I have no interesting pursuing this any further. The asking price will cover my costs for the materials.
