Default Superphon CD MAXX Preamp

For Sale - Superphon CD MAXX Preamp.

Sounds good. Don't need it now that I have my Aikido...how about $180?

I'm just outside Chicago.

It's around the early 90's.

Stan Warren (1/2 of PS-Audio Fame) was the man behind Superphon. I am not a big fan of the looks - but sound is very nice. The Revelation II was the model higher (same guts/circuit as the CD MAXX, but it had a phono stage) and looked more like a conventional preamp, and less like a kitchen drawer.

One more thing I did like on the CD-MAXX is ability to switch between Active and Passive.

thanks john. Its funny I was drawn to its unusual looks. Seems well thought out design.

I used to have one of those, used it with a pair of 80B power amps, that were the same, ah....well, style as the pre.
