Default Vintage Voltage Expo in Denver on Sunday!

Vintage Voltage Expo

I'm new to this part of the country, so I haven't been to this show/swap meet. However, if my past experience applies, there will probably be some great deals on test gear, tube amp parts and vintage electronics. Last year at Minnesota swap meets (St. Cloud and Buffalo), I picked up a HP function generator for $20, a huge choke for $10, cute Radio Shack speakers with 40-1197's for $10, and a giant old Tek 485A 'scope (minus it's 6922s, of course) for free! I'm still pulling parts from that scope.

I have no affiliation with the organizers, but I'll have a table with some my excess stuff: a TDA1541 based Magnavox CD player, a single big Alnico coax, and maybe some tube and chassis parts. Of course, I'll also have speakers on display (out of stock for another week or two, so none for sale). I suspect I'll bring more stuff home than I'm taking!

It looks as if this show will be a little more diverse than a HAM fest, with some records and more audio gear. We'll see. Admission is only $5. I'd get there early.

I've loaded the car, and I'm not looking forward to getting up at a quarter-to-four. But, I am excited to see the show! Please say hello if you are around! If there is room, I'll even have a 1955 Martin Committee Cornet on the table. . .
